Golf is a cruel game, as I realised again this weekend. Murphy’s Law states that if something can go wrong, it will.

The next Rands-in-Raffle and Members Attendance Club Draw will be on Friday, 22 March 2024. Club Pool A is standing at R5000.00 with Club Pool B at R5000.00 and Club Pool C at R3800.00.

And just like that we have reached the last month of Friday sundowners, and by extension, Summer. Let’s enjoy these last glorious days, and hopefully play some great golf.

As I write this piece, the young talent, and some older talent, of this country are starting to tee off in the Cape Province Open at our club and we are sure that they will enjoy our course and hospitality. We wish them a great tournament in awesome weather conditions.

The New Year is well underway, and at the golf club, it started with a "bang"! As we mentioned in a previous newsletter, our rounds during our peak season (15 December to 15 January) were close to 6000.
